My Cedes is the same way. He is probably 7 y.o. and hasn't used a
litter box in the year and a half he's been living with us. I assume
he was never introduced to one in his former lives. I put newspaper
on the bottom of the cage (in addition to the litter box for the
others) and just change it out twice a day. I also use newspaper
under the water bowl because Miss Emma feels the need to rearrange
the water bowl to her liking, sloshing water in the process.
