Yes, again I second Mike. Inability to urinate is also rapidly
dangerous (as is a blockage) . One of the commoon causes is
that there is adrenal disease which has led to an enlarged
prostate, and in that case surgery is rapidly curative. There are
also some medical approaches that vet, Jerry Murray, discussed
in earlier posts (Try the search feature.), but as I recall he is
much more inclined toward surgery due to it being the most
effective approach. Meanwhile, get to the vet right away to make
that little one comfy. Scooter recently had an adrenal tumor that
had no signs until his ability to urinate went away suddenly one
day; the vet drained him with a syringe and he had surgery the
next day which was curative.
