Hey now, even though I'm a pathologist by trade, I also have 15 years
as a practicing vet working with ferrets. I like to think that I
have amassed a large amount of knowledge on all medical and surgical
conditions of ferrets, rather than just those which one might

P.S. For those who are unfamiliar with the field of pathology, only
about 30% of my cases or less are actually dead. Most of my cases
are tissue samples (or blood samples) from very living, very
breathing creatures) who are very interested in the results. (For
those who don't know, the science of interpreting the changes seen in
blood samples is known as clinical pathology.)
