She may have been taken away from her Mommy before she was
litter trained. This happens frequently with pet store
ferrets. I'll never forget the first time one of my jills
had a litter and I got to see the kits get potty trained!
I believe this usually happens around 6th to 8th week.

With shelter ferrets that are really impossible I have
covered the entire floor with litter boxes. Sometimes only
thing that works. Then I put food and water up on a higher
level.
