Subject: Stomach Distention

Hello,
I wrote earlier asking if anyone had any ideas about why my Oscar's
stomach might be hard or distemded. I should have given more info.
He underwent adrenal surgery about five months ago. The left was
removed, the right slightly enlarged but our vet doesn't do cryo
surgery and she didn't think it was that bad. At the time he had a
foreign object removed from his stomach. He's a rescue we've had for
a little over a year now. The foreign object was an African scorpian
tail. He has insulinoma, and is slightly anemic. He's not on any
meds. He hasn't shown any classic insulinoma signs so Dr. didn't
think it was necessary. He is getting Devil's Club in chicken baby
food twice a day. He eats, drinks, poops, and plays well. I'm sure
that I should be getting him to take some vaseline for furballs more
often than he does. He's just not interested. Any suggestions there
would help too!
Thanks again for everyone's help!
