Tiffany- the most common reason for a hard distended belly would likely be
enlarges spleen- Spleens enlarge from a chronic systemic infection which
gets unnoticed.
Has your vet run a course of antibiotics? A blood test will tell if the
white cell count is high- indicating infection. his needs to be vet
checked and treated - without it can develop into grave health concerns ,
renal failure would be one of those concerns.
