There is a lot of info about Heliobacter out there,
since it is a common problem causing stomach ulcers, and
chronic infections can enlarge the spleen.
Usual treatment is a combo of meds, for doses
and alternatives I know there is info in the archives
look under Heliobacter,if nothing then try ulcers and you should
find it. How was the diagnosis of Heliobacter made?
Spleen pathology? biopsy? blood? I am just wondering
since I wouldn't start any treatment without a definite diagnosis
of actual heliobacter, not just suspicion because the spleen was big.
I hope he gets better soon,
