It is an infectious bacterium genus. Humans get H. pylori and
ferrets get H. mustelae if I recall the species names of the two
microbes properly. The genus is a common cause of
ulcerations, and in ferrets can also cause splenic enlargement
and other problems. It is Helicobacter. (Don't forget that "c"
when using the search engines.)
