Subject: Re: Devil's Club Supreme good results!

I am very glad that you included numbers.

If you have some handy and have the time could you (or
someone else) list the ingredients of the Devil's Club Supreme
and if they include portion numbers, those, too. Haven't i read
that there are sugars and alcohol in there? (Not sure on that
count and was hoping that someone would before now mention
if either (or both) is actually in there.)

Am curious to hear from those more adept at such things if
alcohol can affect blood sugar levels; certainly sugars will.

If such items are in there then their effects would need to be
separated out, too, in some way.

realize every ferret will react differently to this and all other herbs
and or meds. But my experience is this. My boy was diagnosed
with insulinoma at age 3 1/2. I, nor my (old) vet knew next to
nothing about it till I researched it here and other websites. We
did surgery,( with a more ferret knowledgeable vet) removing
tumors and about 50% of the pancreas. We did fasting B/G tests
every month. 8 months later, his B/G was down to 59. Started
Pred & Proglycem.3 months later he was on the highest dosage
of both. Then I heard about Devil's Club Supreme. I gave it every
12 hours religiously( in addition to meds). After 5 weeks,
increased Devil's Club to 3 times daily. Within 3 weeks later, his
B/G went from 37 to 60, then up to 70 ,5 weeks later. (no
seizures at all thank goodness before or after Devil's Club). His
hind end was becoming quite weak again(now 1 year later after
1 st surgery) , so we went in again and removed another tumor,
and cryoed the right adrenal.1 week before his second surgery,
we did pre-op blood tests, and checked B/G it was 70. The day of
the surgery I did not give Devil's Club, fearing it might interfere
with anesthetic. His B/G had dropped to 52. He has been doing
great since surgery this May, and I still give him Devil's Club 2
times a day. I have his B/G tested every 4-5 weeks, it has been
stabilized to the low 80's. With a little luck, lots of love, good
nutrition, and Devil's Club Supreme, I pray he will live to be a very
old man. So, I say, it's worth a try, but it may take a few weeks to
kick in. It works great for us, use your own judgement. Happy
endings, form Michele & Snooper, and the rest of the Sock
Sharks Jessi & Tigger.
