Subject: Merial vaccine
If you haven't received your vaccines yet, you might want
to call Merial. Ours were supposed to be shipped earlier but
due to the tragic events in NY and the plane situation they
were delayed. Merial has also moved their headquarters to a
new location and things have been a bit......unorganized.
After our rep placed the original order, we realized we needed
an additional box. I called the next day, gave our account
number and added the the box. The order came minus the
additional box. No problem, I figured it would come separately
it probably didn't make the first shipment. When it did not
arrive in two more days I called. No one had put it into the
computer. They apologized and said they would send it right
away. So you might want to check and make sure they entered
it. I am happy to say we tried it on 8 of my ferrets today.
They were fine. No pretreating, no itching, nothing. It seems
to mix a lot easier than Fervac too. The real trial will be
next week when I take the ones that have reacted in to be
done. I hope it will go as smoothly as this first set.
