Subject: Re: Need to increase Pred?

Call your vet and leave a message so that the vet can return your
call when there is a lull in the mad rush of patients. Our's have at
times given us a bumped-up dose number , or a change or
addition to meds to test based upon a phone description. Your
vet is the one who knows this individual and how the current
dosing relates to what the individual can handle. It's the middle
ground between going from advice of someone who doesn't
know this individual and going in to the office. Warp's Pred dose
got bumped up slightly twice that way; the vet gave us a first
change to try (to one of her daily two small doses) and told us to
try increasing both doses that by slight amount if that did not do
the trick; in her case she is NOT maxed-out in dosing so that
makes a difference in approach, too.
