The tolerance for aspirin varies greatly among ferrets so just
keep that in miind. We almost lost one to intestinal bleeding
from only 1/2 as much aspirin as that. Obviously, a person
doesn't want to give an anti-coagulant to one with internal
bleeding or who is post-op, but even without those or ohter risk
factors the med sometimes just isn't tolerated as we discovered.
