Hello katharine@nettally.com,

In reference to your comment:

è I keep all of the following information on a 3x5 card on
è my refrigerator (and have the supplies in my house, of
è course ). 1. My local vet's number 2.
è After-hours emergency vet numbers 3. Poison Control
è numbers, and 4. I keep these instruction on the same
è card:

Thanks Katharine:
I wouldn't take my fuzz kidds to the emergency vet in this
area. He is not my idea of a good vet. We had a rather upsetting
situation with him September 1999 when he tried to force us to pay
$400.00 for a dog that we found along the side of the road that
someone had hit, his assistant had already been on the phone with
the Animal Control and told them that they animal would have to be
destroyed.
The vet demanded the money in advance and when told we didn't
have our personal check, but would be willing to pay without bank
debit card, he refused and called the police.
So does anyone on this list know if we have any reliable vets
in the Victorville area that do emergency night visits, or is Grand
Terrance the closest to us?
