Probably the other adrenal gland, will need
surgery again I guess. 4 is still young, he should do well.
Is your vet experienced with adrenals?? Unfortunately,
if it is the right side this time it is more technically
difficult
to remove so you may want to go to a specialist if your
vet doesn't do the surgery a lot.

My ferret, Rommel, has already had one adrenal gland when he
was barely a year old. He came through it fine, grew his
hair back, gained weight, etc. Well, he's 4 years old now
and is once again losing his hair ( his whole belly and neck
are bald), he is very sexually aggressive towards our other
ferret (also male and both are fixed), and basically doesn't
play anymore, just sleeps.

I'm taking him back to the vet for the second time this
month but wondered if anyone had any suggestions on what
this could be. I'm very worried. My husband is away for 6
months on military deployment and I'm having a difficult
time dealing with this myself. I'm very worried he is going
to die.

Please help, Sara
