To everyone who responded, thanks for all that great advice.
Now I know what to look for and ask when we go back to the
vet this week. Sometimes the reading on the Internet
concerning adrenal can be difficult and hard to understand. I
recently switched his vet to a more knowledgable one conerning
ferrets and I think he is getting great treatment. When he
took some of Rommel's urine, he was worried about a tear
because even with 3 people holding him, Rommel still squirmed.
He peed blood that very night and I paged the new vet who
called back immediately and said he wasn't concerned about the
blood, he was just happy that Rommel was peeing. He called
again the next day to check on him and I was very impressed by
that. I want a diagnosis and procedure within this or the
next week.
