With that pattern, it is unlikely that it is adrenal. Sounds more like
"Rattail" which is a skin condition rather than an adrenal gland
condition. There are a number of treatments. I've had good luck
scrubbing the tail with Johnson & Johnson's Clean and Clear Foaming
Facial Wash and a soft hand brush every day. Some use salisilic acid or
benzoyl peroxide acne products and one person said they had good results
from putting a drop of ivermectin on the base of the tail.
