I don't know if it varies by what part of the country you
are in, but mine are all shedding now and getting their
winter coats, about 1/2 have thinning of fur on just
the tail- this is just part of the shed.
Two have more than normal fur loss- sparse coats
which I am monitoring to see if they develop signs of adrenal
this year or with the next shed, since it can be seasonal.
