That's what I do too. These guys pass food through their systems so quickly
that their stomachs are empty in that length of time, and they are unlikely
to vomit (and then aspirate) food under the anesthetic, which is what the big
concern is. And since you don't want to trigger a crash in an undiagnosed
insulinomic... I've never had a problem with doing it that way.
