I have to add something that I've said before recently. Shilo has every
chance to live happily for the rest of her natural life. My Pertwee lost his
left adrenal gland then, not long after, his right. Our vet ligated the vena
cava and completely removed the right gland. Since then Pertwee gets
medication twice a day, and will for the rest of his life, but a year and a
half later he is still the crazy, bouncy, playful, ultra-hyper white weasel we
have always loved.
