Subject: Re: Arimidex vs. Lupron or others?
I don't have any personal experience with Arimidex, but here's what
Dr. Charlie Weiss has to say about it...
"This drug blocks the enzyme which converts testosterone to estrogen.
It is available as a 1 mg tablet. It appears less effective than
Lupron or Casodex, but can be effective for some ferrets with this
disease."
So if it fails to work for your ferret, Lupron may be a better choice.
