Subject: flax seed oil
Nothing is 100% safe (except perhaps death) but the reasons for
avoiding it would not exclude most ferrets. We like Ferretone around
here, as well as a very plain olive oil (no expensive, highly
flavored, autumn, green, first-presses since we prefer them and are
greedy, while the ferrets like a cheap colorless variety that doesn't
taste of olives). We personally avoid polyunsaturates, but do give
saturated fats and monosaturated ones.
