I know I can increase it to quite a bit more than I'm giving now, but how
fast can I do this? (As an aside, I did try Proglycem a while ago and he did

Just to make sure, I would have another fasting BG test done - its possible
that he didn't need an increase of prednisolone. I have found sometimes that
bumping the pred actually causes a spike in the BG into the 200's.....what I
have found that works better is to administer pred 3x a day, instead of
increasing the amount given 2x a day....this is done after I talk with my
vet. I would get the BG done first to verify that his values are still low
and then ask the vet if increasing the dosage 2x a day is better or just
adding a third time.....

The above is a layman's opinion.
