When at the vet for physicals, shots etc. most 0f the ferrets
here don't really mind the thermometer. We have a little
trick. And while the technician is doing the temp we do the
nails. This is also the same way we do the nails here at the
shelter. Well anyway this is what we do. We put a fair
amount of ferrettone on there bellies. It has to be more than
usual because you are going to be doing something that they
despise. It works amazingly well.
