Subject: Update on Severe Aggression/Swollen Vulva.... Shilo
Hi Everyone!!
Took Shilo to the vet today, we decided to put her on Lysodren and see if
that will help with her symptoms. We'll give it a week on Lysodren daily
then every third day for 2-3 weeks and then re-evaluate. If she's not
getting better, then we'll probably have to go back into surgery and remove
the right adrenal and double check that 'everything' was already removed on
the left. Does that sound right to all of you??
Shilo is doing well outside of the agression and the swollen vulva... coat
looks great and she's eating well. She's still holding her weight at 1.4
lbs. I'll keep her on duck soup daily to supplement her regular food (1/2
Shepard & Greene Nutrilife and 1/2 IAMs Kitten). That way if she does end up
in surgery at least I can hope to keep her weight and muscle tone up until
then. This is all so tough.... Ijust want her to be ok!!
