Subject: Not supposed to neuter till February??
Here's a hmmmmmm for everyone ...
We have friends in the UK who keep ferrets for hunting. After
hearing us gush about what marvellous pets they are, they have
decided to try bringing one they consider to be rather charming in.
Now, we have suggested neutering Hamish (who is 2 1/2) but their vet
has told them that he (or she) cannot do the surgery till February
because Hamish' testicles will withdraw up into the body for the
winter and only drop again in the spring.
Is this true? Or is someone having someone on?
