Subject: Insulinoma & Food
Thank you all for the replies - I certainly didn't expect so much so
quickly. You gave me plenty of information to think about.
I did call my vet about the amount & frequency of the pred. He said she
could be getting too much & that COULD cause her uneasiness, but didn't
agree that spreading in out into 2 doses would help. He said I
could back off on the dose a bit, but still everyday. She's been on it
over a year, but only every other day until 10 days ago, when I started it
everyday. No improvement.
I haven't been giving her nearly as much baby food as some of you do, so
could easily feed her more of that. Most of you mentioned turkey, while
I've been giving her chicken - is there much difference?
