Subject: Lice

Hello,

We just covered this subject in parasitology class, and our
instructor (according to him anyway :-) is pretty well known
in the field of external parasites such as fleas and lice, so
I would assume the info is correct.

According to him, lice are very species specific. Therefore,
if your ferret contracted a form of lice, he could not give it
to you, and vice versa, you cannot give your ferrets or any
animal human head lice.

Dooks to your fuzzies,
