Subject: propecia question
Hello,
I have had Zeke (6 yr old MF) on Propecia for 3 months and so far so good.
He has had 3 adrenal surgeries in the last 2 1/2 yrs ( 2 traditional and
cryo on the right last Nov) and I'm really afraid to do another. He had the
high dose of Lupron in the beginning of August, but his hair loss is
continuing. He's urinating well and he's playful. I was wondering how long
anyone else may have/had their ferret on either or both of these drugs. I
believe that I read that hair loss and tumor size may not be related. I DO
NOT want another emergency and wonder if an ultrasound would be of value in
determining the size of the right growth. Dr. W told me he's done 3 or 4
adrenal surgeries on the same ferret, but I really feel like Zeke has used
up alot of luck.
