Subject: Adrenal problems.....
Hi,
My name is Melissa and I have just joined this group. My ferret Yoda
has developed what is diagosed as a possible adrenal tumor. He has
the characteristic hair loss and the vet I took him to on Friday said
she did in fact feel a lump which wasn't supposed to be there. She
has referred me to a clinic in a larger city which has equipment to do
an ultrasound. I am currently trying to get this set up, but the
exotics vet is out of town for a week, so I am not sure if they will
do the ultrasound this week...or if I will have to wait until after
the 22nd.
If anyone lives near NE alabama, please email me. Right now, all I am
going on is what this particular vet recommends but I would love to
have a good backup for a second opinion.
