Subject: Adrenal Disease confirmed
Just got back from the vet's and Simon was diagnosed with
adrenal disease. Surgery is an option and out there, but for
right now he put Simon on Anipryl (selegiline hydrochloride).
I don't believe I've seen this mentioned in the posts about
adrenal disease. We talked about Melatonin and the vet said
to go ahead and try it. The 1 mg dose sounds like alot to
me--that's what I take myself. The vet said it was important
to give it at about the same time every day, but didn't give
credibility to the "8 hours after sunrise" idea.
