Ultrasound is generally not real useful in the diagnosis of adrenal
disease. If Yoda has the classic hair loss symptoms, your money
would be better spent on the surgery to just go in and take care of
it. Adrenal glands can be relatively normal in size and still be
abnormal and cranking out hormones, causing a raging case of hair
loss, among other things.

If your vet felt a lump, and believes it's an adrenal tumor, which
must be a whopper, then it seems you have more than enough to go on.
