Subject: Re: Coinciding adrenal gland disease?

I have to disagree that hair loss caused by fleas or allergies is
very common in ferrets.

While allergies are often given the blame for hair loss by vets that
have zero experience with ferrets, I think that if this does happen,
it's pretty uncommon. I've know (and have had) quite a few ferrets
with hair loss and it has always been due to adrenal disease. The
same goes for fleas. I won't say it's impossible, just not common at
all.
