Hi Jim

Not a vet here - just my personal observations - Anipryl is ineffective in
ferrets because of what is causing the hyperactive adrenal glands. In dogs
(cushings disease) is caused by a neoplasm on the pituitary gland - and that
is what Anipryl targets. In most ferrets, adrenal gland disease is caused by
a neoplasm on the gland itself - and Lupron, melatonin and lysodren (now
almost not ever used) are much more effective - although your first best shot
at curing the disease is surgery, IMO.

I hope that this helps.
