I had something similar to this on a shelter kid (my vet jokes that if
something weird is going to appear, it will appear on one of my ferrets,
shelter or otherwise). It was a hard round bump on his upper lip that while
it didn't appear to be growing, I didn't like its location. So poor Kramer
was off to the vet for surgery. After surgery, Kramer had a inverted "V"
shaped notch out of his lip at his canine and looked permanently like he was
doing an Elvis impression. Dr. Williams, I believe you did the pathology. It
was diagnosed as a peripheral nerve sheath tumor and benign. In the
pathology report, you did note that its location was unusual that they were
more typical around the eye and I was just wondering if perhaps this is what
Patty is seeing?
