Subject: Re: skin tumors - alternative treatments

I don't believe it was a squamous cell tumor. I'm not positive, but
I'm pretty sure I'd recognize the name if I heard it again. I do
recall my vet telling me to watch him closely because there was a
possibility it could reappear somewhere else, if that means anything.

Max passed away in '97, so I doubt my vet still has his records, but
maybe they're filed away somewhere. I'll have to ask next time I go
because I repeat this story often to stress the importance of not
assuming it's something relatively harmless. It would be helpful to
put a name to what he had. I would say it's probably not common, but
why take that chance.
