Subject: Lump near the inner left hip on 6 month female
Perhaps the ferret injured the leg and may have a fracture,
there may be other possibilities but until a vet check and
x-ray is done there is no way to know for sure.
Until then keep her quiet in a cage to prevent further
injury to the leg.
Let us know how the vet exam goes.

The limp got really bad from Mon. morning to Mon. night.
She has her left leg pulled close to her body and she
doesn't really want to extend it. I touch around and I
think I felt a lump near the inside of her left hip. She
winpers when I touch it. (She is eating fine.) I don't
know what to do. Help???Thank you.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
