Subject: Vets and Flying
First of all, I want to thank everyone who helped me
through the difficult time of losing one of my babies
recently. I appreciate all the advice. But since I
still have another fuzzball to think about, I do have
some questions. First and foremost I am seeking a more
****knowledgeable**** vet.
Does anyone know how I can go about finding a vet that
is well educated in treating ferrets? I am in the
Shreveport, LA area in the Northeast part of the
state.
Second question: I am interested in taking my other
baby Felix home with me to NY for the holidays since
he is still dealing with the loss of his snuggle buddy
and I want him with me. Anyone travel with their
ferrets on a plane? What are the rule? Are some
airlines against it and some aren't? Plus, what do I
need to get in order to do it? I've started checking
airlines but if there are other ferret lovers out
there that can put me one step ahead it would help.
