I've never had probs with Delta - even took a ferret to Japan in
cabin. I am going to Spokane in 2 weeks and plan to take a ferret or
two with me on Delta (for the Spokane Ferret show Nov 10th). Never
needed a health certificate but always carried shot recs with me just
in case.
Air Tran also allows ferrets in cabin. I just found this out, I have
someone coming by to pick up a ferret next weekend. They will be
taking their new fuzzbutt home with them in cabin on their Air Tran
flight. Air Tran wants to see shot records and a health statement
(doesn't have to be from the vet - can be from the breeder or
shelter) issued within 10 days of travel.
Hope this helps!
