Subject: Re: Adrenal & Lupron

Thank you Mike, Alicia and Lisa for your responses to my rather
disjointed questions about Lupron therapy. Sounds like the
overwhelming recommendation is to go with Lupron after running the UT
test. I do want to make absolutely sure that is the problem before
starting Lupron. At Cedes' age, I just don't feel comfortable
subjecting him to surgery again so quickly. He had an exploratory in
2/00 and the adrenal in 7/01. At this point he feels just fine,
following me all over the house. He is a little itchy but doesn't
have awful sores or anything. He occasionally gets a little raw
looking area from scratching.

I am totally put out about this. Once you have surgery, it should be
over with once and for all. Champ ended up having his right adrenal
removed twice, the first time via cryosurgery. The second surgery
was the beginning of the end for him. Both Cedes' and Champ's
surgeries were done by the same doctor. There is a much better
surgeon in the office. I need to just make sure to use him in the
future.

Thanks again for all of your input.
