Subject: Lymphosarcoma

My young ferret has the same. She is only 8 months old. She was almost on
deaths door two weeks back. But a great vet she is really getting back
to normal. She thought she was going to have to put her to sleep that night.
She is on 17cc of Clavamox Drops, twice daily with 5mg prednisone tablets
twice a day and Carafare 1 oz 3 times a day. She is getting Chemo once a
week
as long as the blood count is good. The doctor is so amazed that she is
doing
so well. Her chest was filled with fluid. She drained it off and gave her
some
medicine to dry it up. Has not had a breathing problems since. The vet Dr.
XXXX **God bless her** has said no to surgery. Says its worse and can
spread something like that. We are giving her ferret soup 2twice a day.
Please think about maybe seeing another vet that just deals with ferrets
only.
Just my 2 cents for my young Ann who seems to be getting better every day.
