Just a note here, not about the lupron. Some ferrets with severe
hair loss from adrenal disease never get there hair back. It does
not mean the adrenals are still active, but that the follicles were
damaged from the hormone levels. These ferrets have normal TN panels
when tested. I do recommend checking regularly though, or using
lupron, just in case (and for the reasons stated so well by others).
