Subject: i'm just full of questions...

i'm wondering if the "healthy edibles" edible nylabones for dogs mgiht
be safe for ferts. i picked one up the other day not thining about the
fact that it wasn't a regular nylabone (which they drag around and play
with, but dont' really chew). figuring, "oh, it's peanut-flavored,
they'll love that," i took it home, then realized that it mgith be
unsafe for them.

this is a link to the nylabone site with the item listed:
http://www.nylabone.com/dog_treats/ (it's the item in the lower right
corner, only mine's peanut-flavoured, not carrot).

they're really hard, so i dont' think they coudl make themselves sick
with it by getting too much and of course i'd supervise them with it
until i was sure they wouldn't eat too much at once (if they could even
chew through it at all). brief supervised interactions suggest they
find it intriguing to sniff, lick, and bite.

"Peanut Bone is an all natural gourmet health chew made with real
peanuts It is designed to satisfy the chewing needs of your dog in a
safe, healthy way and is completely edible and digestible. Peanut Bone
contains no plastic, no added salt or sugar, no color additives and no
preservatives. It is made from 100% natural ingredients! High in
protein, low in fat."

but is it weezil-safe? anyone know?
