There's no formula as to how much Lupron is the right amount.
Different vets have varying opinions on what's a proper dosage to
start with. I think this is mostly achieved by trial and error and
what has worked for them. Dr. Weiss recommends 500 mcg of the one-
month Lupron, while my vet seems to consider 150 mcg as a good
starting dosage. I don't know that the weight of the ferret has
anything to do with the size of the effective dose.
