Subject: Tweeter

Hi. I posted about this the other day but I was in a hurry because I
wanted to get it on before it went out and I was worried and stressed
about Tweeter.
I will start from the beginning.
All of Tweeters problems started in April. We flew to SC and he was
in the cabin with me. When we got there he wouldn't eat or drink.
The vet there ran bloodwork but everything was ok. He thought
Tweeter was stressed and told me to put him on gerbers. When we got
back to WA I put him on duck soup. He has been on that up until 2
weeks ago. During this time he would be fine then he would have
runny poops and refuse to eat, he would go back and forth.
2 weeks ago he refused to eat duck soup but started eating dry kibble
again, just out of the blue. I noticed that his poop was a light
brown/puddin color and that he was losing weight fast. I tried to
give him some duck soup but he wouldn't eat and he continued to eat
dry kibble.
Because the weight was gone so fast I took him in for a fecal, it
came back neg. then we had bloodwork done. Everything came back ok
except he is boaderline anemic (sp?) but the vet said not to worry
about that just keep him on pedilyte. He put Tweeter on Clavamox
drops and told me to give it 2 weeks and wait and see.
Personally, I don't want to wait 2 weeks and see, I believe that
there is something there and clavamox drops and 2 weeks aren't going
to help.

I guess I am asking for any help on this. This is a mystery to
everyone involved. Tweeter is eating gerbers now and no kibble. His
poops last night and today have been a dark brownish/black color and
solid. He plays but tires faster than usual and faster than my other
ferret. Tweeter is 14 months old. I hope I didn't forget anything.
Oh, no vomiting.

Thanks for any help,
Tonya
