Did your ferret just get his rabies shot perchance? Mine had the same thing
happen about 2 weeks after he got his rabies shot....and it was in the
vacinity of where she gave the shot...she gave us antibacterial soap to put
on it and it eventually went away and the fur regrew almost instantly...
