splenectomy and still problems eating

Hello Debbie-
I am NOT a vet-- but has --As anyone considered infection? An enlarged
spleen is commonly caused by a chronic infection which gets missed. It is
very possible though the spleen has been removed the infection is still
present - causing the vomiting. Removing a large spleen is helpful to
the bladders function - but it will not fix the trigger for the enlarged
spleen. A chronic infection which continues will cause suppression of the
immune system, possible renal failure and a host of other problems.

I would have the vet check the white cell count for infection and treat
quickly.
