Thank you Dr. Williams for your response to my questions
regarding post surgery feeding and so on. I heard somewhere
that ferrets ought to be fed directly after waking from
surgery, which seemed kind of odd to me. It makes sense that
it's too much for their system to handle at first. Poor Molly
thanks you as well - she's the one who would have suffered due
to my ignorance :o)
As far as the insulinoma possibility - I'm really afraid of
having to administer meds, but I guess it comes with practice.
After all, even the most experienced vets had to start
somewhere. Hopefully it won't be necessary though!
Thanks again for responding, now I have a better idea of what
to do for her.
