Subject: mucousy stool question
alright, i believe that seedy stool is caused by undigested fat
particles showing up in the stool (feel free to correct me if i'm
wrong) but i can not remember what causes mucous-like stool, or
mucous-like "gluey" spots in the stool. i ask because i noticed a
couple mucousy puddles on the paper yesterday... the culprit was
identified and isolated today--her stool looks far more normal today,
still a bit soft, a bit mucousy, but far, far better. i'm keeping an
eye on her, but i think it's just something she got into, or got too
much of, perhaps... regardless, any relapse will result in a vet
trip.
anyway, i was just curious as to the actual process (or lack thereof)
that causes the mucous to appear in the stool...
