Subject: Changing from Friskies to Ferret Food
Should we wean her to a ferret food? How
would we do that? Which one is the best? She turns her
nose up at everything besides Friskies cat food.
Dooks:
I would definetly try to wean to ferret food. There have been tests
to
prove that ferrets needs different vitamins and protein levels than
other
pets, and Friskies has a lot of nothing (even for cats). Introduce
the new
food (we use Totally ferret) by mixing in with the Friskies.
Gradually
increase the ferret food and decrease the cat food. If all goes
well, you
hopefully will soon have her on mostly ferret food, eventually doing
away
with the Friskies altogether. Good Luck!!!!
