Anything under 70 f. is fine. Ferrets like it cool...mine love it when the temp is down to 35 or 40 and I open the window.....they go ballistic in
joy.
Folks in Great Britain house their ferrets outdoors all winter....If you decide to do this, make sure you have a good, wind shelter with lots of old
clothes/rags/towels/straw/hay, etc. so they can curl up in and stay warm. (Make the entry to the shelter just large enough that they can enter..no
larger!) Also make sure you give them a very high fat and animal protein diet...preferrable raw meat as that keeps the calories up..calories needed
to keep the home fires burning!
